Idli Milagai Podi

  

 

Ingredients :


Urad dal - 1 cup

Channa dal - 1 cup

Red chillies - 10 nos

Asafoetida - 2 tsp

Curry leaves - a handfull

Ellu (black) -  1 tbs

Oil - 1 tbs

Salt as per need 


Method: 


Dry roast the ingredients one by one seperately at medium flame and 

keep them come to cool.

Temper  the curry leaves in the oil and add it to the dals. 

First grind the fried red chillies and add the dals and make a coarse powder.

Finally add salt and asafoetida and give it to a stir. 

After the podi comes to the room temperature 

add the roasted ellu and mix well. 

Red colour Delicious podi is ready. 

Mix in gingelly oil  and serve with hot  idli or Dosai
